Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Honest Days is provided by BioRust Studios, LLC, 3038 Aventino Ln, Tavares, FL 32778, United States ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Your account

You need an account to use Honest Days. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for everything done through your account. One account belongs to one person; tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised.

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and you must not use the service if you are barred from doing so under applicable law.

3. Your data is yours

You keep all rights to the data you put into Honest Days. We claim no ownership of it. We store and process it only to provide the service to you — to display it, calculate totals, and generate invoices and PDFs.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to train machine-learning models. See the Privacy Policy.

4. What you may not do

• Use the service to commit fraud, including issuing invoices for work that was never performed or impersonating another business.
• Upload content you have no right to store, or personal data about others that you have no basis to hold.
• Attempt to access another account's data, probe or bypass the security controls, or test the system's limits without our written permission.
• Automate the service at a volume that degrades it for others.
• Resell the service, or present it as your own.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Honest Days is a paid service. Creating an account is free; using the app requires an active subscription, offered monthly or yearly, alongside a one-time lifetime purchase. There is no free tier and no advertising.

Subscriptions bought through Google Play — or, on iOS, through the Apple App Store — are billed by Google or Apple under their own terms, and are managed and cancelled in those stores rather than by us. The price in your own currency, including any local tax, is shown to you before you buy.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the period already paid for. Refunds for store purchases are handled by the store under its own policy.

If your subscription lapses, the app asks you to resubscribe before you can go on using it. Your data is not deleted and it is not taken from you: resubscribing returns you to exactly what you had, and you can close your account and erase everything at any time, subscribed or not.

6. Invoices are your responsibility

Honest Days is a tool for producing invoices. It is not an accountant, a bookkeeper, or a tax adviser, and nothing it produces is tax, legal, or financial advice.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you invoice: the rates, the hours, the tax rate you enter, and whether the resulting document meets the requirements of your jurisdiction. Check your invoices before you send them.

7. Sharing an invoice

Sharing an invoice creates a link that anyone holding it can open. The link contains a long random token and is excluded from search engines, but it is not otherwise protected — treat it as you would treat emailing the invoice itself.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the service running and to avoid data loss, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. The service may be unavailable for maintenance, or because of a failure at an infrastructure provider we depend on.

Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. Invoices can be exported as PDFs at any time.

9. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from within the app — see the account deletion page. Deletion is permanent and removes every organization you own and everything beneath it. We cannot recover it afterwards. Save what you need first.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought in a store. Cancel it in Google Play, or on iOS in the App Store, or you will keep being billed for an account that no longer exists.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms. Where circumstances allow, we will give notice and an opportunity to export your data first.

10. Warranties and liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost revenue, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it arose.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusions above; where that is so, they do not apply to you.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will give notice in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and the United States, without regard to their conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Lake County, Florida.

13. Apple as third-party beneficiary

Where you obtained Honest Days from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you as such. BioRust Studios, LLC, not Apple, is responsible for the app, for supporting it, and for any claim that it fails to conform or infringes a third party's rights.
